Nestled in the Druid Hills community of Atlanta since 1971, a family owned and operated bed and breakfast-like Inn known for its caring service.
Atlanta – The University Inn at Emory is located in the historic Druid Hills neighborhood, a safe, quiet area adjacent to the Emory University campus. The Inn was built in 1971 by the Thibadeau Family who have managed the property continuously since. The property includes four buildings and several lodging options. The Inn boasts distinctively large rooms, while the Guest House is distinguished by king suites as well as small, cozy rooms perfect for one person. If your travel plans call for a longer stay, you might find Oxford Hall, which is much like a European hostel, particularly accommodating.
In addition to being just blocks from the Emory University campus, the Emory University Hospital and Clinics, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Cancer Society, the University Inn at Emory is centrally located near many of the attractions of this bustling southern city. A stay at our Inn positions our guests minutes away from downtown Atlanta, Buckhead entertainment and dining, the new Georgia Aquarium, Braves games and Falcons football. The beautiful Atlanta Botanical Gardens and Orchid House, which is part of Piedmont Park are within 15 minutes of the Inn. Our guests visit CNN, the World of Coca Cola, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Stone Mountain Park and frequent the local shoppers’ paradise, Lenox Mall and Phipps Plaza.
I welcome you to stay with us in our restful, low-key environment. To many of our repeat customers, we are their home away in Atlanta. The Inn staff is responsive to your every need, whether to provide something to make your stay more comfortable or directions to nearby business and shopping areas. Thank you for choosing our place for your stay while in Atlanta.
